The Fiber Laser is a versatile solid-state laser source. It offers enormous advantages to various material processing applications. Below are some demonstrated capabilities of the fiber lasers, though its capabilities are not limited to these materials and applications.For years, solid-state lasers have replaced traditional laser systems in numerous materials processing applications. Now, high power fiber lasers bring the ultimate in solid state reliability and operating convenience to such applications.

Typical diode-pumped fiber laser delivers a diffraction limited (M2 < 1.05) 1.07 micron laser beam directly to the work site via a metal-sheathed single mode fiber cable. These compact service-free lasers are designed to operate under high shock, vibration and dust conditions, with relative humidity up to 90% and temperatures ranging from - 20°C to + 60°C. Fiber-to-fiber architecture means a robust, monolithic design with no optics to align or maintain, no mechanics to stabilize, and with the focus and high power densities needed for the most exacting applications. Fiber delivery lines up to 50 meters are available.

The i-Series Q-Switched Fiber Laser Marking Kit was specifically designed for maintenance-free OEM applications and is equipped with two scanning heads working simultaneously, doubling the speed of the marking process.  It delivers a diffraction limited (M2<1.05) laser beam directly to the worksite via a metal sheathed single mode fiber cable.  These compact service-free lasers are designed to operate under high shock, vibration and dust conditions, with relatively high humidity and temperatures. They do not require routine replacement parts or materials; they require only a low voltage power source.
