C3 Laser introduces the FantomTM series - Sealed RF-excited CO2 lasers for material processing. These lasers are designed with Mode-Selective Technology for extremely high laser beam quality. Contrary to Slab Laser Technology, our single-mode high beam quality and wide range of pulsed operational modes provide a cost-effective cutting, scribing, drilling and welding laser source for wood, plastic, glass, textile composites and thin metal sheets. FantomTM series Carbon Dioxide Sealed (CO2) Lasers require no gas recharging, are small enough to mount easily on a machine tool, and powerful enough to cut, weld, scribe or mark even difficult materials.

FantomTM technology produces a beam at a wavelength of 10.6 microns that allows material to be processed at twice the rate of larger gas flow lasers. This is due to the combination of our low M2, high quality laser beam that produces a smaller focus spot size and fast rising square wave pulsing characteristics. The FantomTM laser can be pulsed at repetition rates of up to 20 kHz, with a pulse duration of between 10 and 3000 microseconds. The Laser is equipped with state of the art sensors that allow remote diagnostics through the Internet. Greater power, light weight, modern interface software, flexible design, and high reliability make these completely sealed, maintenance-free CO2 gas lasers the industry choice.

Main Features:

  • Sealed Titanium laser head design for rigidity, strength, and light weight make it ideal for static or dynamic applications.
  • Intracavity Mode-selective Hybrid Resonator (patented) guarantees an extremely high quality laser beam.
  • Laser resonator design is resistant to Thermal and Mechanical damage.
  • Unique coating inside laser head promotes long life (patented).
  • Separate Solid State RF and DC power supplies
  • Custom built-in RF-matching system (patented)

All lasers require external DC and RF Power Supplies. C3 Laser can provide modular DC and RF Power Sources. The DC power supply provided is a modular design with high reliability and redundant AC/DC converters. C3 Laser can provide OEM versions (US and European voltages) of stand-alone DC and RF power supplies. C3 Laser also supplies rugged water-to-water and water-to-air heat exchangers for laser cooling, as well as cryogenic water chillers. These chillers and heat exchangers are designed to provide accurate water temperature control with high flow rates.

For OEM customers we provide an assortment of Integration Tools and accessories, a modular design shutter, and a laser diode pointer for targeting the work piece. The OEM packaged interface kits for use with FantomTM lasers will add safety and functionality to the entire system. The interface kit includes a PC card with control software and an optional touch screen interface and Visual Basic software for easy integration into the OEM system or for stand-alone operation.

F250GL
In response to the growing demand for accurate and reliable laser scribing in FPD industry, C3 Laser developed a new series of glass scribing lasers that include the FantomTM F250GL for laser scribing of brittle materials.
